ABOUT ME
Ebony Scott-Harris is an innovative reading specialist in the state of Maryland. She is a certified practitioner and educator in IMSE (Institute for Multi- Sensory Education) where she provides breakthrough instruction, involving all five senses, to struggling readers of all kinds. She attended Notre Dame University School of Education where she fostered her love of reading instantly knew this was the path and career choice for her! She currently works for Prince George’s County Schools as a reading specialist for students with disabilities. She is also certified in the OG approach for treatment of dyslexia and the scholastic board of educators.
Personally, she enjoys spending time perfecting her crafts. She is a musician and singer and performs with her jazz band in her spare time. She is a native of Baltimore MD and enjoys community outreach within her urban community. She also enjoys real estate investing and thrifting as well. She shares life with her loving husband and between them they share 6 amazing children! Ebony’s favorite quote is "once you learn to read, you will be forever free" and she hopes to inspire her students to open themselves up and navigate through the reading process to assure that freedom is forever attained!
